Westridge 5th Graders Shine at Camp Big Springs!

This week, our amazing 5th grade students took part in Provo City School District’s Camp Big Springs—a long-standing tradition of outdoor learning and leadership in the beautiful Provo Canyon. Campers immersed themselves in hands-on activities like:

🚀 Exploring the solar system 🌿 Identifying edible plants in the wild 🧠 Solving engineering challenges 🧭 Geocaching 🐛 Investigating invertebrates up close Mr. Hoehne had the privilege of joining the students for the day and overnight stay on Wednesday. He shared, “The kids were full of energy, eager to learn, and completely in their element. It was a joy to see them thrive in such a fun, engaging environment.”

We’re proud of our Westridge Wildcats for their curiosity, teamwork, and enthusiasm! Camp Big Springs continues to be a highlight of the 5th grade experience.
