Term 1: August 15-October 17

Go Math Chapters 1-3

• Count to 1000, skip count by 5s, 10s, and 100s
• Read and write numbers to 100
• Determine odd or even numbers in a group; sum of two equal addends
• Understand digits of 3-digit numbers are 100s, 10s, and 1s
• Compare two 3-digit numbers
• Mentally add or subtract 10 mentally
• Add and subtract 1-step story problems
• Fluently add and subtract within 20

Term 2: October 23-January 11

Go Math Chapters 4 and 5, plus missing addends

• Fluently add and subtract to 100
• Add and subtract 1-step story problems
• Add four 2-digit numbers
• Explain addition and subtraction strategies

Term 3: January 14-March 15

Go Math Chapters 6-9, with 1-step story problems

• Add with regrouping & simple subtract without regrouping within 1000
• Explain addition and subtraction strategies
• Tell and write time to 5 minutes, am, pm, digital, analog
• Solve word problems with dollar bills, quarters, dimes, nickels, pennies using symbols
• Measure customary and metric length of object with appropriate tools; estimate lengths; measure and compare lengths
• Solve word problems using addition and subtraction
• Represent whole numbers on a number line and sums and differences
• Add and subtract 1-step story problems

Term 4: March 19-May 24

Go Math Chapters 10-11

• Draw a picture and bar graph with up to four categories
• Recognize and draw shapes with given attributes
• Partition circles and rectangles into equal shares & describe as halves, thirds, and fourths
• Partition rectangle into rows and columns of same size squares
• Find total number of objects in 5X5 arrays
• Add and subtract 2-step story problems
