What is your favorite food? Breakfast Burritos
What is your least favorite food? Curry
What is something unique or surprising about you? I lived in Hawaii for a year while going to school.
What is your favorite subject to teach? Writing
Who was your favorite teacher and why? Miss Alquist, she was my second grade teacher and she is still my favorite teacher because she always made us feel important, wanted and successful in our class.
Why did you choose to be a teacher? I chose to be a teacher so that I can be a voice for the kids and so that I can be a part of their “lightbulb” moments.
What would you like your students to remember this year? I would like my students to remember that they are loved and can do hard things in life.
