What is something unique or surprising about you? I love to craft and do DIY projects. I just painted the cabinets in my parents’ house!

What is your favorite subject to teach? Math

Who was your favorite teacher and why? I’ve had so many great teachers but my favorite was Mrs. Peterson. She was my 3rd grade teacher. We did so many fun activities and learned a lot. I remember learning how to hand loom and making a bag! Maybe that’s where I learned to love being crafty and learning new skills!

Why did you choose to be a teacher? Ever since I was in elementary school I knew I wanted to be a teacher. There is just something so fun and exciting about being able to help students learn something new, whether that be in science, math, or reading. There is ALWAYS something new to learn!

What would you like your students to remember this year? That is am so thankful that I get to be their teacher and see their smiling faces everyday! Everyday is a new day and a new chance to LEARN and HAVE FUN!
