Hello Westridge Families! It is hard to believe that we are half-way through the school year. This month we are focusing on being kind. We have a display in our north-east hallway that says,...
Dear Westridge Families,
It is hard to believe that it is already May and that the school year will come to an end in two weeks. It has been an incredible year! I do not think any of us could have predicted how our year together would end.
So many people have helped make this year a success! I want to thank our teachers and staff for working each day to provide the best possible in class and online learning opportunities for our students. I am very proud of their work during this very challenging time. I want to thank our parents for taking on the additional responsibility of becoming instant elementary school teachers. I want to thank our students for being positive, determined, and resilient through the many changes they have experienced this year. I want to thank Rachelle Sorensen, our PTO President, and all our parents for the many hours of service they have given to make this year a successful one. Thank you to our School Community Council for the direction and the support they have given our school.
It has been a privilege to serve as the principal of Westridge Elementary this year. You have been incredibly warm and welcoming. I can’t thank you enough for your kind words, your smiles, and your continued support!
I will continue to communicate with you during the summer about what you can expect for the new school year. Thank you again, for a successful and memorable 2019-2020 school year!
