Westridge Second graders went on a field trip to Rock Canyon last week.  They were able to identify many different rocks.  One student found a rock with a fossil in it. It’s called an ammonite. They are mollusk type sea creatures that lived anywhere from 60-240 million years ago! That was awesome.
