Westridge Elementary School

Hello Westridge Parents!

This week the students were introduced to our new Book Vending Machine.  Ask your children how they can earn a book from the machine.  Check out our Social Media pictures too.

This year, we are reviving a Westridge Elementary School tradition from years past.  A patriotic choir is being formed!  This choir will meet Thursday mornings, beginning November 3.  All 2nd to 6th-grade students are invited to join.  In addition, the choir will perform for their parents in February.  For more information, see the attached flyer.

Parent Teacher Conferences will be held on Wednesday, November 2, and Thursday, November 3, from 1:45-6:30 pm.  Teachers will provide an in-person or a Zoom conference, depending on your preference.  Just let the teacher know which conference type you prefer.

We can’t wait to meet with you to discuss your amazing children!

Thanks for your support!

Go Wildcats!

Principal Kim Hawkins

SEPs are coming up, and we need your help providing dinner for our wonderful teachers and staff.

We are coming up on our first Book Fair for the year. We are setting up Friday, October 28, and then the Book Fair itself will be November 1 – 4.  We would love volunteers to help the students buy fun books.

Remind your kiddos if they have a birthday this month to check the bulletin board in the east hall for their name.  They can then take that to the office for a special birthday treat. If you are new to the school and your child has yet to receive a Westridge t-shirt please reach out to us via email with a way they have been respectful, responsible, or safe, and we will make sure they get one.
