Hello Westridge Parents! 

This Friday is our STEM Fair!  Please make sure your student has turned in their STEM Fair application and that their project is ready to present to judges on Friday morning.  You are welcome to come visit the STEM Fair from 12:30-1:25pm.  We are excited to see all of the student projects!

The following message is from Mrs. Johnson, our library coordinator.

Our Battle of the Books teams have been working hard all school year and their time to shine is almost here!  We will have practice battles next week during library time and then the first battle–class battles–will be held the week of February 10 during library time.  Parents are welcome to come cheer on their students.  The winning teams from each class will then go on to a grade-level battle the week of March 10, times and dates TBA. 

Also, our catalog software has not been sending out overdue book notices.  Teachers will send home paper notices until the glitch is fixed.  If you have any questions, please reach out to me at emilyjo@provo.edu

Other Reminders

• You must have a government-issued identification (i.e., Drivers License, Passport, etc.) to enter the building or check out your child.  Please bring your ID with you each time you come to the school. 
• Please send your students to school each day with coats and warm clothing so they are comfortable outside at recess.  The teachers still take their classes outside for recess, and we still have lunch recess outside during the winter months.
