Hello Westridge Parents! 

At the end of each day, our students will leave the building using an assigned grade-level exit.  If your child needs to meet a sibling, please have them find a meeting place outside.  The students will not be able to pick up their siblings from the classroom.  Please ask your children which door they use to exit the building so you know where to pick them up.  Some parents pick their children up at the church parking lot to avoid the congestion at the front of the building. 

Please make sure that your child has money in their lunch account.  You must apply for free or reduced meals every year.  You can apply at the following website: https://www.myschoolapps.com.  You can also send money or a home lunch.  To pay online, use the following website:  https://provo.edu/child-nutrition/.

Please take a moment to update your child’s PowerSchool account.  This information must be updated in order for your child to use a Chromebook.  Instructions for updating your account are attached.  Please pay close attention to the phone numbers listed and your emergency contacts.  Please update your information ASAP so your child can use the classroom technology. 

Kindness Club will be starting up again in September.  Kindness Club is for students in 1st-6th grade. Meetings are held during lunch recess once a month, and students will learn various skills related to kindness (Stop Walk Talk, including others, how to be a good listener, etc.). Students can sign up during lunch recess next week and will bring a permission form home. Students can return the signed permission form to their teacher or the main office.  

Social-emotional wellness groups will once again be offered this year.  Please see the attached information about the groups offered this semester and how to sign up. If you have any questions, please contact our social worker, Mrs. Gallacher, at calliega@provo.edu.
