Westridge Elementary School

Hello Westridge Parents!

Please know that our staff is dedicated to keeping our students safe, but we need your help, especially with after-school pick-up procedures.  The following guidelines will help us keep your children safe:

If you need to park, please use a parking stall.  Do not leave your car unattended in the drive-through lane or park in any area that isn’t a designated parking spot.  Be aware of our painted crosswalk lines.  Students need to use these crosswalks.  If you are picking up your student on 1460 North, please have your child use the sidewalk and not cut through the south parking lot.  As you approach these crosswalks, please be cautious and watch for students.   You may use the Rotary Park parking lot closest to 1460 North, but please do not enter the school’s east parking lot (by the lunchroom/gym) to pick up or drop off students.  The right-hand lane is for curbside pick-up and drop-off only.  Do not let your children enter or exit your vehicle on the left-hand side. The middle and left-hand lanes are for moving traffic only.  Please do not stop or park in these lanes at any time. The bus circle is for buses only.   The east and west parking lots are for faculty parking only.  Due to the number of students in these areas, please do not enter these areas to pick up or drop off your child.   An alternate pick-up location is the church parking lot on the northwest side of the school.  Although some of these procedures may seem inconvenient, they are critical to our students’ safety.  Please be patient and kind with our school staff as we implement these procedures.  We are trying to keep your children safe, and we appreciate your support with these procedures.

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact the office.  We are happy to help!

Thanks for your support!
