Chinese New Year—also known as Lunar New Year or Spring Festival—is a public holiday in China, with a festival lasting 15 days from Chinese New Year to the Lantern Festival. The festival includes special food and drinks, clothing and decorations, and dances and activities. Generally, Chinese people have a week off from work to celebrate, but Chinese New Year is also celebrated all over the world.

El Año Nuevo Chino -también conocido como Año Nuevo Lunar o Fiesta de la Primavera- es un día festivo en China, con un festival que dura 15 días, desde el Año Nuevo Chino hasta la Fiesta de los Faroles. El festival incluye comidas y bebidas especiales, ropa y decoraciones, y bailes y actividades. Por lo general, los chinos tienen una semana libre de trabajo para celebrarlo, pero el Año Nuevo chino también se celebra en todo el mundo.
