Mrs. Gatrell’s class has been involved in Problem Based Learning this term! They formed groups, picked a real-life problem to address, researched their topic, and picked a solution to try. This week, two groups addressed two problems: homelessness and bullying. One group held a week-long supply drive in the classroom for items for move-out kits when people are rehoused from a homeless shelter. Another group designed and hung up posters promoting kindness and helping others around the school! We sure are proud of these third graders!
