Westridge Elementary School

Hello Westridge Parents!

It’s hard to believe that this is the last week of the 2022-2023 school year. It has been a great year! We are incredibly proud of our students and their progress this year!

Just a few reminders.  May 24th-26th are Early Out days this week!  The students will be dismissed at 1:30pm on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.  Mrs. McMahan’s morning Kindergarten class will be dismissed at 10:40 each day.

Our Kindergarten drive-through graduation celebration will be held on Wednesday, May 24, from 3:00-4:00pm in front of the school. Our 6th-grade drive-through graduation celebration will be held on Thursday, May 25, from 3:00-4:00pm in front of the school. We wish our 6th-grade students all the best as they move on to middle school.

The PTO still needs volunteers to help with Field Day on Wednesday, May 24, from 8;30-11:30am. With parents as volunteers, we will be able to run all of the activities that we have planned for the students. Please sign up to help with Field Day.

If you want your child(ren) to participate in summer school, you must register online using the following links.

If you have not registered your child(ren) for Kindergarten yet, please register now so we know how to plan for next year. Please tell your friends and neighbors! You can register at grades.provo.edu choose the “New Student Registration” tab, and complete the form.

Thank you for all of your support this year. We hope that you have a fantastic summer break!

Go Wildcats!

Connecting Parents to Westridge (information from Westridge’s PTO)

We need more parents to join the PTO.  It does not cost money, only your time.  Unfortunately, we do not have enough help.  Things will stop happening if we don’t get more volunteers and people coming to the meetings.  We do birthday gifts, Red Ribbon Week, Candy Grams, Carnival, Field Day, Teacher Appreciation, school shirts, the bulletin board in the entry, and so much more!  Our meetings are monthly, and little ones can come with you!

Field Day: We are soon approaching the end of the year, and that means one thing for the PTO: Field Day! The students look forward to this day all year, and we need your help to make it happen. Please sign up here Please Sign up to help with Field Day

Faculty & Staff Treats:   Sign up to Bring Treats

Birthdays: Remind your kiddos if they have a birthday this month to check the bulletin board in the east hall for their name. They can then take that to the office for a special birthday treat.

School Shirts: If you are new to the school and your child has yet to receive a Westridge t-shirt, please get in touch with us via Email with a way they have been respectful, responsible, or safe, and we will make sure they get one.
